Saying Goodbye to Paradise Pier
With all of the updates Disney has been making, sadly Paradise Pier will be one of them. Granted DCA doesn't have a lot to offer (and I'm still upset about the Tower of Terror decision), but Paradise Pier has to be one of the best parts about it (especially since HTH is gone, not bitter at all)! It brings the California feel into it and is an iconic picture spot for many Disney-goers.
In honor of it closing to make way for Pixar Pier, it was evident a girls trip to Ariel's Grotto was in order! We obviously decided on breakfast (because princesses). And in these last couple months since the announcement was made, LOTS of Cove Bar trips were made as well. Including that one time we decided to stay in the LONGEST line I've ever seen for it and ended up with the hottest seats in the house. AKA they sat us down at Ariel's Grotto RIGHT next to where World of Color was minutes away from starting. I'm still stoked about that... I know it's impossible to tell. And of course, one last ride on California Screamin' (shoutout to my Dad for being the only one willing to do it with me!).
Only time will tell what Pixar Pier will bring us, but there better be some amazing nachos in there or it's game over for me!
