I hadn't been to Goofy's Kitchen in I can't even remember how long. When Lauren asked me to go, I of course jumped at the chance. We are both huge Disney lovers (as I'm sure you've noticed based on recent posts). She doesn't have a pass so it was the perfect option considering other character breakfasts and dinners are inside of the parks. It's definitely best to make a reservation because it is crowded with tourists and chances are, you won't get a table or it won't be at your desired time. When you arrive and check in, they have Goofy up front to take photos and then they bring them to your table to purchase, as nothing is free in Disney! They also give you a button exclusive to Goofy's Kitchen.
I'm pretty sure we each got up 6 or 7 times for different plates. You're paying a good amount so you may as well get your money's worth!! Plus you don't have to finish everything on your plate and it's a nice opportunity to try different foods. They literally have everything from breakfast to a salad bar to gourmet pizzas to dessert. Our reservation was at 9:30 and at about 10:30 they started swapping out foods and bringing out lunch options as well so definitely stick around to see what else they'll bring out. Lauren's favorite was definitely the monkey bread and I loved the mixed fruit cobbler. Plus, soft serve ice cream, I mean come on!!
The characters were Goofy (obviously), Pluto, Minnie, and Chip & Dale. They came around a considerable amount of times and at one point we asked each other if Minnie even remembered that she came around because it was probably 5 times that she visited our table! Plus, every 30 minutes they do a dance around the whole restaurant and get everyone involved. All in all, I'd definitely say it's worth the money! There are other places in the park that cost way more and you don't get the same experience or amount of food options and quantity. Hey, even if you live here it's a fun random thing to do in the area that doesn't require entry to the park if you're a Disney lover! And who doesn't love Mickey shaped waffles and pancakes, am I right?
